Moving Day

Today is the day.

(Well, actually the move has been postponed until tomorrow, but I thought I would post what Crys wrote anyway since all you would get out of me today is sickening sweet love note all about my adoration for Supernatural. I thought I would spare you from that…at least for now! –mmm)

Moving day.

Moving on up! To the west siiiiide. *slap* Sorry, bad song stuck in my brain just then. I’m better now.

By the time you read this post, burly moving men will have come to my apartment and collected all my stuff to load into a big ole truck and haul it cross country to Utah.

All I have to do now is put all my can’t-live-without stuff in my car and haul me across the country. I’m stopping along the way for some fun. Meeting family in Texas and visiting some cool people in Oklahoma City. After I stay in Texas for a few days, I’m going up Colorado to Wyoming and I’m home free to Utah. Should be a really fun trip actually.

Wish me luck!

Shadows of Passion

I started a new blog. (Don’t even get me started on this development! –mmm) Yeah, yeah shush it up and go check it out. This one is for romantic suspense writing and for those of you not in the know, my work in progress Revenant is a paranormal romantic suspense. And of course I hope to write more of them.

So, go check them out! My first post is about who to go to when you have a question for the experts. Like which gun/bomb/torture device works best under these circumstances.

Hump Day Hotties

Mad Madam M here! With Crys trekking across the great expanse of middle America, I just wanted to warn all her loyal readers that I will be posting for her, which essentially means later post times. And since she can’t comment back or even really see what I am doing I decided to add my own thoughts and opinions to some of her pre-written blogs - when appropiate of course - in whatever this color is! Enjoy!!

On this festive occasion (random Wednesday afternoon), I have decided to provide you with a bit of cheesy incentive to get through your work week. So…look your fill. These are some over waxed, under paid men who can’t afford shirts with their bow ties. How sad. But…look at the copious man titty! *sigh*

ELFI Mixed Up

I may have blogged about this before, but I again have to express the wonder that is the Mad Madam M’s ELFI mixes. I have no idea what ELFI actually means, I simply promounce it “elf-ie”. I believe the origin has something to do with M being a something Laudable Fount of Information. No clue about the E in the ELFI, but I’m pretty damn impressed I remembered the rest.

However.

My brain is stuffed with useless information. Like things I would never need to remember.

Anyway.

Why am I bringing up the ELFI mix, the CD of fun and random song goodness she sends me monthly? Because M’s computer crashed a few months ago and I sent her the ELFI mixes I had so she could load them onto her new computer. She lost everything in the great crash. I shudder to think of a crash. Devastating.

So…when she sent back the ELFI mixes, she realized she didn’t have the track lists for three of the months she thought she had. So ensued an hour or so of fun while I shoved my mixes into my computer and played them for her over the cell phone so she could identify the songs. I certainly had no clue.

The songs were awesome so often, I held the phone to the speaker after I knew she had to have figured out what song it was, just so I could listen a while longer. I am sadistic that way.

Novelty Girls Day

It’s that time again, folks!

Today I’m over at The Novelty Girls talking about pen names, what they mean, and how to pick them.

Also, as a move update, I’ll be rolling out of Tennessee either Friday or Saturday. Until then it’s packing and trying really hard not to procrastinate on the packing and the cleaning and the landlord inspection.

Eek!

The good news is, I have almost all my packing done and I think I sort of have a handle on the cleaning thing. I think.

Sunday Funnies

This week’s quiz is all about how much money your life is worth. Lemme tell ya, there are some weird ass questions on this quiz.

The good news is, my life is worth a lot more than I thought. If cash ever gets really tight I can get myself kidnapped and split the ransome with my partner in crime. Yes, I’m a good, sweet, clean, honest, tax paying citizen. I swear.

Your Life Is Worth…

New Review for FULL SWING

The Romance Studio reviewed Full Swing and said some awesome things about it. Here’s my quotable goodness:

Crystal Jordan packs an emotional wallop into Full Swing. Not only is the
lovemaking intense and sensual, but the communication between Ty and Jill gets
pretty intimate too. These two are in love, deep love, of that there is no
doubt. But do they have the strength and endurance to make it through this rough
patch? I liked how Ty used lovemaking to work through their problems. He knows
he communicates best in that fashion so he used it to his advantage. Spicy
dialogue, heartfelt pleas, and some realistic communication made this story a
cut above the rest. If Crystal Jordan can keep me hooked with such a short
story, I’m eager to read more of her stories. Full Swing scored a hole in one
for me.

Hee! I got a hole in one. That’s just cool, ya know?

My critique partner’s book comes out today!!

My CP’s first book comes out today! Woohoo!

Here’s the info:

Jenny and Ty have known each other most of their lives and have been attracted to each other since they’ve been old enough to know what attraction meant. A tragedy has bought Jenny back home to Parsons’ Pass and into Ty’s arms.

The heat between them is as hot as ever, but the scars he carries from his parents’ relationship and his own failed marriage keep Jenny at bay. When Ty comes close to losing the most important person in his life, he knows it’s time to bury the past and fight for their love.

Hey all!

I’m a moderator over at a new group that focuses on non-erotic romance (you know I don’t ALWAYS write the durrrty stuff, right? Right?). Anyway…we’re launching a Yahoo Group and having a contest to promo ourselves, cuz people like free stuff, right?

Here’s the official details:

The contest that is going on at SWEETER ROMANTIC NOTIONS Yahoo group is ending this weekend!

If you’d like a chance to win a free book, just post a blog invite for SRN for folks to check out the newest group for specialized sweet and non-erotic romance. All genres are welcome! Even anthologies.

Readers, writers and publishers are encouraged to read or lurk on our group, along with the posting of excerpts, contests, and general discussion for the less than graphic style of romantic writing this site is encouraging.

When you’ve posted the blog invite on any site, just send an email to SweeterRomanticNotions @ yahoo.com (no spaces) along with where you posted and you’re entered! It’s that easy. A total of 3 people are going to get a prize for our first group contest!
