One (wo)man entourage

As some of you may have heard, I have a one woman entourage.

The Mad Madam M.

One of the agreements I have with M is that when I make it big, i.e. Nora Roberts big, she gets a palatial guest house in the back of my property. And it comes with a pool boy accessory. The pool, of course, is optional.

M was so in awe of my stellar abilities of organization and planning by declaring that the guy she totally wants a piece of who stars in the show Supernatural. So he’s hawt and has a good gig now, but he’s not gonna be young and cute forever, so I figure he’ll be available for purchase in about 10-15 years.

Thus his new life as M’s pool boy. I figure true love will come out of it, and I can write the story and sell it and get yet another best seller (Nora, remember?), which really just makes the pool boy a good investment. And M deserves some really good perks for being my one woman entourage right?

See M calling me fanfrakintabulous (TM)

Adventures in Moving

Good morning dear readers (or the guy who accidentally got me in a google search):

So, I officially have a new address to move to. How exciting is that? I love my new place so far, but I’m still in the honeymoon stage. Of course, that’s probably because I don’t live there yet. Easy to love it from afar.

On that note, I have a day scheduled with the movers. They’ll come to haul me away next Friday, so I’ll be incommunicato for a while as I travel cross country. I’m sure we’ll find some way to entertain you.

I’m stopping on the way to visit with family. Always loverly to see them. And they miss me. Awwww. Hey, I have to be gone for you to miss me and I’m gone far too often for them. I get to see my youngest niece, who is learning to be as mouthy as the rest of the women in my family. We have trained her well.

That’s all the update on my front. Nothing special here, just wrapping up loose ends before I make like a banana and split. (Yes, I really did use that lame ass line)

Novelty Girls Day

Hey all!

It’s that loverly day of the week again: Novelty Girls Day. Go on over there and read about how I pick my leading man in any book. It’s a fun one.

Also, I got a review of Full Swing from Coffee Time Romance. Here’s some of the fun quotable stuff:

Ms. Jordan creates a well-written story that reaches into the core of the consequences that often befall one after an accident. With a very moving story between two convincing characters, and passion that heats the pages; Ms. Jordan pens an incredible read.

Happy Monday!

Sunday Funnies

Apparently, I’m going to outlive the Mad Madam M by a good decade. Kinda funny considering I’m, ya know *cough* older. With her birthday right around the corner, I’m sure this rubbed a bit of salt into the wound. Sorry, M!

You Will Die at Age 82

Congratulations! You take good care of yourself.
You’re poised to live a long, healthy life.

The new me

Hey everybody!

Those of you who didn’t stop by yesterday will be noticing the new look. I still have some things to tweak, but I bowed to the pressure of finally taking off my “wannabe” status. The website and news categories have been updated as well, so go ahead and pop over there.

The biggest news is…I have a release date for my second book! It comes out Friday the 13th of October. Friday the 13th! How cool is that? Totally fitting considering it’s my first paranormal book. It’s called In Ice and it’s the first in my Wereplanets series. The blurb is on my Bookshelf page.

Last but certainly not least: Go check out The Novelty Girls for hints on our new contest. Join in the fun!

Romance Junkies Review

I got a 5 from Romance Junkies Reviews!!! How awesome is that?

They liked Full Swing. I’m so stoked about this!

Here’s the fun part:

Crystal Jordan has written a great short story that will leave you panting and wanting more. The sex scenes are hot and sweaty. You will be fanning yourself while reading and turning pages to see what will happen next. Tyler and Jill will light up the pages with flames of heat and leave you wanting them to get back together. FULL SWING is a wonderful book and will leave you wanting more.

Go here to read the full review (in which they had the goof taste to give my book a fab grade)

Howling good time

What could be better on my day for posting on my paranormal blog than showing off a hot man in a spider costume.

See?

He’s all kinds of paranormal. And hawt. Did I mention that? Yeah, sorry. He so is.

Anyway.

Go check out my Howler’s post about cross genre and paranormal.

Papa’s got a brand new bag

I got a new job! Yaaaaaaay! I put in my two weeks notice at the library today and I’ll be starting at my new digs in about a month. The delay? I’m moving to Salt Lake City. Way closer to the west coast. My family is so stoked that they’ll get to see me for Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and New Years, and Easter, and 4th of July. No more of this once or twice a year crap.

I’m going hoooooooooooooome! Yes. Yes! YES!

Plus, I loved everything about this place when I went and interviewed. Loved. The staff was great, the library was great, the books were great. I get a nice new office and an even nicer bump in salary.

Who could ask for anything more. Now I just have to find a place to live. In two weeks. Over the internet. Ack!

Novelty Girls Day

It’s Novelty Girls Day! Go check out my post on writing under pressure.

I had an awesome weekend for the writing. I’ve been really struggling this past month with lots of outside pressure that kept me from writing. I’m back on track now and had a kick ass few days of writing. Check out my progress on Revenant over in the side bar. I’m over 50% now. About freaking time.

Alrighty, go read my Novelty Girl post!
