I don’t say this phrase very often. Frankly, I have so many ideas of my own, I usually run shrieking at the mere thought of having more.
This is to give you the background of the situation.
I have to say that of all the books and series I’ve read (and there have been a ton of them. Really, I’m a read-a-holic) I have two ideas that I’ve run across where I said “MAN, I wish I’d had that idea.”
The first is Robin D. Owens’ HeartMate series. Love it. Loooooove it. Wish I’d thought of it first, but probably wouldn’t have done as good a job with it.
The second is a new book that Shelli Stevens is writing. I’m getting teaser snippets right now, but I can honestly say this is an awesome idea and I really wish I’d have come up with it first. Can’t wait to see what she does with it when she’s done. And no, I’m not giving you any details because I’m a tease too. So there.
Onward!
I couldn’t resist some revenge of the statues-come-to-life pics. I love this stuff!

You’re so cool! Thanks for giving me the thumbs up on the book. I thought it was a good concept, but what the heck do I know? *Grin*
by Shelli Stevens January 18th, 2007 at 4:21 pmWait that made me sound cocky above. Seriously, what I’m trying to say is I thought I meant be onto something, but you always love hearing validation from your friends…yes, that’s much better.
by Shelli Stevens January 18th, 2007 at 4:22 pmYes, you’re SO cocky Shelli. I just can’t stand it. Hehe.
by Crystal Jordan January 18th, 2007 at 5:45 pmI know what you mean. I’ve been thinking that about Shelli’s teasers, too. And she is a cocky little B., isn’t she?
by Lillian Feisty January 19th, 2007 at 5:09 amI have the “I wish I thought of that” a lot!
Good job, Shelli!
