Lady Bug Tattoo
Friday, July 20th, 2007

For all of you who wanted to see…here are the pictures of my new tattoo. I like it and think it’s cute, but it hurt like hell so I think this might be the last one for me. After I got it, Lillian Feisty said “I didn’t want to tell you but that’s one of the most painful places to get tattooed.” Thanks, hon. Good looking out. :P

And I have ugly feet so be nice!

Close up shot. Sorry it’s a bit blurry, it’s hard to take a good pic of your foot when you’re all pretzeled up to get the camera close enough.

    It’s very cute, Crystal! Congrats!

My son would love it, especially. He knows ladybugs are good luck, so he’s always trying to catch one. I think I’ll just admire yours, though. I’m not too fond of the needles…

It hurt a lot. I think I’m happy with just the one. It’s cute and little and easy to cover for business meetings.

I think it’s very pretty. But why a ladybug?
I always kinda figured you for the butterfly or maybe a cool looking flower tat.

CC: Well, I survived a wild infestation of lady bugs in the mid-west when i was in grad school, and I always thought of all the things to have infest, they were the best ones.

Diana: I wish I was kidding.

You did not look like a cow in labor! And you did great. I’m glad the lamaze training helped.

Crystal, I think it is adorable and you may be surprised at how addictive the tats get. I know I sure was, I got one then a few years later another, and another, and now I just want more and more!

What are we gonna get done in SF???

Don’t let Crystal fool you into thinking it’s a real tattoo. I drew that on her with a couple of sharpies…

You were NOT like a cow in labor. I have seen cows in labor. There was no mooing. And there is alwaying a lot of mooing. Besides I have held the hands of women in labor and you didn’t squeeze nearly as hard as they did.

Does this mean I get to personally “sharpie” Mel next year?

Gee, thanks, Lia. I’ll make sure to moo more next time. :P

As for San Francisco…if you’re buying again, I might consider. ;)

    That is absolutely precious, Crystal.
It is so cute. LOL, at cows mooing in labor. I never thought of that. And LOL at Feisty not telling you it was one of the most painful places.

That is my problem. If I get one, I either want it on the back of the neck (OMG, my spine) or on my wrist (I have very noticeable veins). So I keep putting it off.

    And your feet look great.

I’m not sure grandma would approve of you encouraging me to get all tattooed up, bro.
