Win my new release from Cobblestone!
Tuesday, October 9th, 2007

It’s my week for the Cobblestone Octoberfest Blog party.

Why? Because my release, Open Season, comes out on Friday!

Want to win a copy?

All you have to do is comment on my blog on any post between now and Thursday and you’ll be entered to win a free copy of Open Season. I’m not picky, just say Hi or something and I’ll enter you. Woot!

I’ll announce the winner on my blog on Friday.

Other Cobblestone authors are also giving stuff away this week. For details, look at the Cobblestone Press blog.

Novelty Girls Day!!
Monday, October 8th, 2007

I’m back from my conference and had a blast. Robin D. Owens was kind enough to usher me around a bit of the city on Saturday, so I did manage to escape the librarianista networking long enough to have some fun.

Anyhoo, a fuller report will come tomorrow. For today, I’m over at The Novelty Girls.

Gone for the weekend
Friday, October 5th, 2007

So, I’ll be at a library conference in Denver this weekend, and I’m giving a wee presentation on how libraries are affected by social networking. If you don’t know what that is, it’s online things that help create a social network of friends…like MySpace, Blogs, and Facebook.

Not that I think you’re fascinated, but I’m a library nerd and it gets my juices flowing. Anyway, I’ll be gone…miss you already! *sniff*

Behave yourselves. So long, farewell!

Ode to M!
Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

Most of you may not know this, but yesterday was a huge day in history. The day my best friend was born. I won’t give you her age, because it’s no one’s business but hers (and she just might kick my ass for it).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAD MADAM M!!!

I meant to post this yesterday, so here’s a shamefaced limerick from me to you, M. And a little bit of naughty on your big day.

This year I have something to boast:
I remembered your birthday (almost).
This card may be late
but it’s close to the date.
Let’s pretend it got lost in the post.

New Books…
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

I got another offer from Kensington Aphrodisia. It looks like they want my Wereplanets stories packaged together as one anthology…AND another book that we’ll decide on later. It’s very exciting and nerve-wracking and freaking cool all at once. I’m pretty sure I’m still in shock, so I have a picture to represent how my inner child is feeling about this.

AND THE (hippy) CROWD GOES WILD!!
