M and I on our vacation last week. I took a couple of videos on the trip–one in Salt Lake City and the other at Arches National Park down in southern Utah in Moab. Road trip!
Weirdly poptastic fountain and book signed and available in Utah–supplies are limited!
Here’s the road trip video. We had a great time even though it was crazy windy! Plus, ideas were churning for new alien landscapes. I feel a futuristic (shifter?) coming on!
I’m over at the Harlequin Paranormal Blog today talking about what I love to write: shape-shifters. All the possibilities, all the animalistic awesomeness. Good times, good times.
This book is, hands down, no question, my favorite book of all time. It could be because the artwork is awesome. It could be that I was a young wild thing as a munchkin myself. It could be because my aunt read it to my brothers and me every night before bed, and I can still hear her voice in my head every time I read the battered, cover-falling-off old copy.
And now they’re making a movie of it. I’m half-intrigued to see what they do with it, and half-horrified that they’re going to mess with my favorite book this way.
Here’s the trailer. It doesn’t tip me one way or the other on the intrigue-horror scale. I’ll just have to put my big girl panties on and go out there and see it for myself.
Jordan’s three interwoven stories are about a powerful panther shapeshifting family and each sibling’s search for his or her predestined mate. The author is a master worldbuilder, and the abundant sex scenes compliment the plot and characters. One cannot help but fall in love with these large, dangerous, hot cats!
Summary: Now that Antonio is the head of his pride, his nonshifting lover, Solana, dares him to “Claim Me” as his forever mate. In “Take Me,” Antonio’s elder sister, Andrea, finds the love of her life in the most unusual place. And Antonio’s twin brothers, Diego and Ricardo, respond with their hearts and their bodies when their shared mate, Isabel, begs them to “Need Me.” (APHRODISIA, May, 304 pp., $13.95)

Thanks to everyone who entered! Don’t worry…there will be other chances to win!
You are confident, reasonable, and very calm. Nothing shakes you up.
It’s likely that you were a bit wild when you were younger, but you’ve gotten that out of your system.
The only time you get aggressive is when someone tries to threaten or harm you in some way.
There’s a little bit of wolf underneath all that sheep’s clothing!
