I don’t think I’ve mentioned this on the blog yet, but I’ve been rather preoccupied lately, so it’s not really all that surprising. I know I’ve mentioned I’m from California. My friends are there, my family’s there, Mad Madam M is there (a friend who is her own category of family), so I’ve been browsing around to see if there were any library jobs open, had a few hit or miss interviews, and finally landed on a place I loved where I’d be doing the kind of work I loved. I couldn’t pass it up when they offered me the job. But that means moving. Again. All my things are packed, the movers come tomorrow. My apartment is leased and I have a new one waiting for me in California. It’s a very good thing, but it’s still sad. I’ll miss everyone, friends, colleagues, and students alike. *sniffle* Thursday, April 23rd, 2009
