Semester's End
Friday, December 18th, 2009

I always know when the semester has finally dragged to a close when my inbox is not full of students going “I have a paper due in one hour and need sixteen articles right now. Heeeeelp meeeeeee!” and I can drive into the parking garage and it’s like a ghost town. The level of stress in the library just cracks and it’s totally peaceful.

Ah, bliss!

Of course, I’m on deadline right now, so my stress level hasn’t gone anywhere but through the roof, but at least I’m not getting it at work and on the writing front. The good news is, it’ll all be over soon.

Ah, bliss!

Just in time for next semester to start.

I don’t think I’ve ever needed to get help to find a book when I was in school. I always seemed to find the right thing right away or was too shy to ask. But I love being surrounded by books so much. There’s a sense of peace and an air of calm depending how many people there are of course.

I forgot to tell you. I recently looked at the free reads and found a couple of stories from the Carnal Desires world and practically melted. I;m the type of person who always wonders what happens to the minor characters mentioned in stories and you wrap them up nicely XD

I’m SO with you on that. The secondary characters just grab me and I want to know what else is going on with everyone in the story. Glad you liked it!

Not to mention the fact that when you read the back descriptions on a book nowhere did Untamed mention a 3some in it. And you put it in Untamed, On The Prowl, and Carnal Desires so beautifully.

Yeah, I made an argument with the publisher about including the threesome thing, but as you can see, I lost. There’s a lot about the marketing and packaging of books that authors don’t have final say in. That’s just how it goes.

Cheryl has told me that too. She’s another author I talk to :D A lot of women are wary about 3 somes too I think. I have some customers who come up and can’t look me in the eyes about the book they’re buying cause they’re so shy about it XD
