Want to win a copy of NIGHTSHIFT?
Sunday, December 4th, 2011

My author copies have landed! Happy holidays to me! They’re a little late, but since the box looked as if it had been chewed up and spit out by one of those giant lizards from Star Wars, I think that was more a post office problem than my publisher.

You know what this means? I can give copies away! Woot! Who wants one? Leave a comment on this post about your favorite holiday memory and you’re entered to win (For the record: the giant-lizard-chewed-box is not a favorite holiday memory). I’ll draw a name on Friday!

AND THE WINNER IS…KIMARA!

Too Many Print Books! Wanna Win One?
Saturday, August 6th, 2011

So, I just got a delivery of my books in the mail. But let’s face it, I live in a one bedroom apartment and there’s only so much room for this stuff. So, I’m giving a bunch of them away.

Facebook has some weird rules about contests now, so in the tradition of my friend Dakota Cassidy, I’m having a schmontest.

What do I want in exchange for giving my books away for free? More people who like my fan page on Facebook. I’m at just under 300 right this second, so for every 10 new fans, I’ll give a book away. The contest will cut off whenever I reach 700 fans. Yep, you did that math right–I’m giving away 40 print books. Already a fan of mine? There are ways you can be entered too (see how nice I am?).

To enter, just like my page and leave a comment about which of my print books you’d like if I picked you.

Sorry, ebooks don’t help me clean out my storage closet of books, so print only. There’s a list of print books right here, if you’re not sure which stories are in which format: http://www.crystaljordan.com/books/#print

If you already like my fan page (or if you like it during the course of this contest), you can also send your friends to like my page and have them leave a comment about who recommended them. Then you’re both entered! That’s right, sending friends can mean multiple entries and more chances to win.

Let the games begin!

Contest at Smutketeers!
Saturday, May 8th, 2010

It’s been a crazy week coming down off the rush of RT, so I completely forgot about posting a contest to win my new book, Wasteland: The Wanderer. Since, I’m easy…I’m going to make this simple for you. Post a comment over on the Smutketeers blog between now and next Thursday, and you’ll have a shot at winning a copy of my book. If you’ve already bought it… First, I love you! Second, you can pick any other Samhain book off my backlist as your prize. So, you’re still eligible for goodies if you’ve already bought the book. Comment anyway!

Here’s what it’s about…and isn’t the cover just pretty? I lurv it!

Wasteland: The Wanderer by Crystal Jordan

Love is the most dangerous experiment of all.

There is only one rule in the Wasteland: survive.

The few remaining women are as reviled as they are worshipped, a commodity any man must pay to touch. And to touch a Wanderer, he may pay with his life.

For Ezra, the risk is worth the reward. People speak his name with the same reverent terror reserved for ancient wrathful gods, but he must always be ready to fend off those who would take what’s his. And what he wants to be his is Kadira.

Kadira, adopted after she witnessed the slaughter of her devoted parents, has vowed never to love or need anyone. It seems only fitting that she, an outsider, accept Ezra’s demand in trade for the fuel technology her clan needs—but her deep, unexpected need for him is the torture she’s fought all her life to avoid. Worse, the greater her wrath, the more he seems to like it.

Ezra’s mercenary half delights at having the warrior woman in his arms. His scientist half can’t resist the urge to see what makes her react—and what makes her explode.

The real experiment: if the bond they forge is strong enough to make her want to stay.

Warning: Threesomes, foursomes, boy on boy, girl on girl, boy on boy on girl, voyeurism, exhibitionism, sex at knifepoint, anal sex, ritual orgies, and, well…it’s just a really dirty book.

National Readers Choice Award Finalist!
Monday, April 19th, 2010

I found out Friday afternoon that my story, “Naughty or Nice” in the Under the Covers anthology is a finalist in the National Readers Choice Award. Woot!

Even cooler? I had a few friends final in other categories, which means we could all win and I wouldn’t have to feel bad because another friend lost. So, let’s hear it for my friend sweep of the contest!

Patti O’Shea for Edge of Dawn in the Paranormal category.

Gemma Halliday for Scandal Sheet in the Mainstream with Romantic Elements category.

Victoria Dahl for Talk Me Down in the Single Title category.

Sabrina Darby is up for Best First Book with her story “Roses are Rogue,” which I think is a novella in her On These Silken Sheets anthology.

A Little More Touching with Rhiannon
Friday, April 2nd, 2010

We interviewed Rhiannon Leith over at Smutketeers today…so come on over and find out a little more about her and the dirtiness she has in store for her fans. I love Rhiannon’s writing, and in awesome news, she’s giving away a copy of her new book to a commenter on her interview! Go check it out!

Interview and win the book!
Thursday, February 18th, 2010

I did an interview for I Do Not Want To Wait, I Want The Book Now, and they’re giving away the first book in my Unbelievable series, If You Believe, since the second book, Believe in Me, came out this week. Go win some stuff!

We won, we won!
Monday, February 15th, 2010

Or, I guess, “we placed, we placed!” would be more accurate. Anne Cain made me a fabulous cover for It’s Raining Men, which I entered in the Houston RWA “Judge a Book By It’s Cover” Contest and we placed third in the sexiest cover category. The only ebook cover, too.

Here’s the rankings.
