To Share the Coming Soon
Thursday, March 5th, 2009

I realized yesterday that there are others on the Samhain Coming Soon list to mention. And if one person is coming soon, we should celebrate with an orgy of the coming soons. And they’re all my fellow Romance Divas, too. I love keeping it in the family!

First up, Eden Bradley’s Tempt Me Twice.

Blurbage!

One hot man is good. Two’s double the fun…until your heart gets involved.

Jessie has been in love with her bisexual best friend, Paul, since their college days. He’s never made a move on her, though, and at this point she values his friendship too much to risk revealing her feelings. Especially since now he has a new male lover and seems so happy.

Paul and Noah have only Jessie’s rest and relaxation in mind when they invite her along on a camping trip to Lake Tahoe. She’s been pretty stressed out preparing to show her art at a major New York gallery. A weekend getaway will do her a world of good–and they won’t take no for an answer.

Jesse thought she’d be nothing more than a third wheel on this trip. But Noah is as sweet and hot as Paul, and their first night turns into a heated tangle of bodies in the dark tent by the lake.

It’s an erotic, intense experience that must come to an end. And when it does, will she still have her best friend?

Warning: Explicit and unusual sex in nearly every possible combination: boy on girl, boy on boy, boys on girl, with a little anal action and some spanking thrown in just to keep things interesting!

Then we get to the ones with covers! I love good covers–can’t wait for the one on my Coming Soon.

Surrender Dorothy by R.G. Alexander

What Happens When a Wicked Wizard Woos a Wary Witch?

Sequel to Not in Kansas

Dorothy knows her new neighbor is too wicked to be trusted. As a natural witch, she recognizes the Wizard for what he truly is. As a woman, she recognizes him as a threat to her sanity.

Z has tried everything. Pursued her in dreams, bribed her cat, enticed her with peep shows meant to whet her appetite and drive her crazy. And still she resists. What’s a Wizard to do? He came to Earth to have an adventure, not lose his heart to the one witch whose guard he can’t get past.

When he finally gets his hands on her, the power between them is undeniable. But Dorothy’s family secret could make him sorry she surrendered.

Warning: Voyeurism, lurid dreams, raunchy dirty wizard sex in public places.

And here’s one I helped pick out the cover for! I love covers, did I mention that?

Compromising Positions by Jenna Bayley-Burke

Falling in love is the last thing on his busy agenda…but compromising positions can lead just about anywhere.

David Strong knows how to do a lot of things–run an international fitness company, finesse stock portfolios and stay out of emotional entanglements. That is, until he gets tangled up with Sophie Delfino and her Sensational Sex workout. He’s supposed to help her demonstrate Kama Sutra positions for her couples’ yoga class. The rigorous postures require more than just physical control. And his co-instructor unexpectedly tests his control to the limit.

Sophie’s been fantasizing about David since her teens, but she never dreamed she’d actually be expected to run through her intimate desires–with an audience! The class is very professional, tame even–or it would be, if she’d been in any of the positions before. But she hasn’t–except in her wildest fantasies about David. Sophie knows she wants David in every way, and she’s flexible enough to use whatever she has to get him.

David can’t afford any unexpected distractions. Besides the sensual positions he has to endure without embarrassing himself in public, there’s an embezzler stealing from his company. And then there’s Sophie–who is well on her way to stealing his well-guarded heart.

Warning: This is one exercise program you won’t need to consult your doctor before beginning…unless he’s hot and available for house calls. The Kama Sutra isn’t for the prudish or faint of heart, and neither is this story.

Presenting: Me!
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

A few of my writery friends (mostly of Romance Diva fame) and I were accepted as presenters for this year’s Romance Writer’s of America national conference! Among others, I’ll be there with the sassy Melissa Francis and the ever-feisty Lilli Feisty. Yay!

We’re doing a panel called “I Sold to New York…Now What?” and we’ll be talking about what it’s like to sell in the current market, getting an agent, understanding editor expectation, learning about the revisions and editing process. Some of us started out e-pubbed, some not so much. We have a bunch of sub-genres covered from erotic to paranormal to contemporary to Young Adult to Women’s Fiction. It’s basically a conversational, relaxed panel where newly sold or unpublished writers can ask questions and get answers from people who’ve been there and are still doing that.
